4 YEAR OLD PRE ENTRY VISITS
Pupils are invited to take part in the pre-entry programme for the final month, one day per week, prior to enrolment.
Pupils are generally enrolled on the morning of their first day ie on their 5th birthday or immediately following it.
Enrollment forms can be filled out prior to the starting date and this has generally been done at the time of pre school visits.
Pupils can visit as part of a pre-school group. Parents are also invited to attend with their children.
New Entrants and Health
At the time of enrolment, parents are asked to take home a health form to complete and return. Parents are asked to inform the school of any special concerns or needs of their children. It is important that new entrants are independent in toilet matters, understand the importance of handwashing, and know how and when to blow their noses.
