Our People
ENRICHED LEARNING
Our teachers have an enthusiastic and positive ethos with their students. We run a depth and width of programmes that support all our students. We are an inclusive school, and we encourage diversity while maintaining and encouraging good values and positive behaviours.
MEET THE TEAM
HELPING HANDS
We have one Teacher Aide who works individually and with small groups of students supporting them with their learning.
Mrs Sharon Evans and Mrs Leslie Lee are our Learning Support Coordinators (for the LMV Kahui Ako) who are based onsite and provide support for our students and their parents and whanau.
We are incredibly lucky to be supported by a team of specialists who also support our students with their learning.
The School Board is the governing body of the school. It is made up of five parent elected representatives, a school staff member and the principal. The Board of Trustees may co-opt members to ensure succession, diversity of skills and healthy community representation. The Board is proactive in inducting new members and encourages all members to undertake training provided by the New Zealand Schools Trustee Association. They... Employ school staff. Approve the budget for all money given to the school by the government. Develop and implement the school strategic plan to ensure the future success of the school. Undertake Principal appraisal. The School Board meets twice a term. Their meetings are held in the school staffroom and are advertised in our weekly newsletter.
